Those that claim Hitler was a religious man also are stretching things a bit ... he was a meglomaniac with no religious ties. The Churches have some blame in not stopping him (other than those such as the German Confessing Church - Dietric Boenhoffer, etc.). I say Hitler was atheistic, but I didn't even count him in the numbers - include him and the numbers tip even further against the statement.
I have no issue with Atheists as individuals, and count many as friends, but I do have problems when people start leveling well-worn lies against those of us who do believe to paint us as unthinking zealots.
