If you can find a mopar shop manual from the late fifties to early sixtys it goes thru the whole testing process and how to do it. I have a 61 plymouth shop manual that goes thru it. it is not a simple deal!! I think that the way to go would be to install and see if it worked? but anyway, the info is in the early shop manuals. Dave.
