I doubt the engineers did it for no reason & on top of that...how many guys do you know that aren't running a bigger injector, turbo or even just turned the pump up these days?
I'd bet a healthy Cummins would bust the input shaft real easy on that divorced TC...if a guy put his mind to it :) :)
