Don't be surprised if your circular saw won't lay over to the bevel cut that you need. You might have to cut it with a handsaw. If you have a bunch of them you can gang them all together and cut them with a chain saw. It's a bit crude but you can clean it up with a belt sander. Just some tricks from a production roof framer.
