Don't give the DOT any ammo on this. They think electric brakes should "lock up", and if they don't will force you to replace everything on the spot untill they will.
I know because it has happened to us. They will skid when loaded lightly but not when loaded heavely. and as everyone knowa a skidding tire has less evective braking power.
Bring on the controversy.
