This does not preclude the annual pull wheels check out. But before each haul, while still in my drive way, I pull the 'breakaway cable plug' out of the socket. Then in 1st gear, I pull the trailer/load.......all 4 wheels better be locked up. If they are, and you have done a good annual inspection your good to go.
