7500feet is nice! That one guy that checks into our net is from the Mtn there. AT night on 80 meters I cant get west over the mountains. 20 meters during the day is great to the west coast. If you have lightning problems out there you may want to invest in some protection hardware for the antenna. Still no replacement for simply unhooking the rigs when storms are around. I have been lucky. Never have had a lightning problem.
