I don't think so. I assume it is the collar part that the bearing slides on to and then goes over the input shaft housing(has a small spring that gently hangs from a bolt off the bell housing directly above the clutch fork). It sits on there freely, there is a little where on it as the old throw out bearing was rather chunky.
