ATF is High detergent that's why they used it to clean engine sludge.
They all have certain additives some more than others.
After re-thinking my post,he should go get the manufacture specific fluid.
I know better to never mix oil's unless testing documents back it up.
Especially with lifting hydraulics.
But with no way to edit,it is what it is.
Beside's like Iv'e never done it in the past
and still here.
As they say older more wiser,more cautious.
