Like Lemmings? I guess so. Look for skid marks on the deck. At 60 mph, it takes a couple hundred feet to stop. And then, how many were rear ended on over the edge, at low speed?
If they even felt the jiggling, probably though it was the wind or a tire balance problem. No idea that the bridge was going to come apart. Bit if they did have that thought, what to do except speed up to get off the thing before collapse.
