Yes the experience is invaluable.
Although I should have listened a little more closely.
He wanted me to stay in school and become an aeronautical engineer! But I being "Smarter" than he,said oh No,I want to be like you.
So I tweaked it a little and learned to play in the mud,Heavy Equipment operator/mechanic,haha
No, the Garage is Long Gone.
West bound I 64 passes right through the front doors, in E ST Louis!
My brother has the LF Mack in running condition.
Some of the other trucks are in the "bone" yard.
The smaller cranes were built by my dad.
The Holmes were bought new, and assembled by him also.
