Somebody is listing a lot of 4 trucks (not PWs). They include some pictures of trucks, with no labels and it's not clear which is which. They also list one individual truck for sale. The pictures of the individual truck are identical to some of the pictures included in the lot of 4 trucks. The odometer reading on the individual truck is identical to that listed for the comparable truck in the lot of 4. They list no vin numbers, but the descriptions they do have are identical.
I figured they're trying to sell the most valuable truck individually, while also selling it as part of a lot. I emailed the seller to ask what happens if both lots sell, who gets the truck. Their only explanation in reply was "Have two different trucks, same pic used." I wrote back to ask why the odometer readings are also identical. I expect they'll say "Have two different trucks, same decr used."
Now is that a screwy way to sell a truck or not? If both lots sell, somebody is buying a truck that's completely different from the pictures they were looking at. Either that or the person doesn't even intend to deliver or sell any trucks, but is just going to keep the money and disappear (what does paypal do then?). Another screwy thing, but this one is ebay's fault, is that the seller has zero feedbacks, and yet ebay gives them a 50% feedback rating. How is zero out of zero 50%? The mathematicians say zero divided by zero is 100%, but an ebay buyer would probably think of it more like 0%. But 50%? Where does that come from?
