you should use rain x. Its works great and I have had very good luck with it. Must have a nice clean glass. Give it a couple of coats. Also years ago Ford used a vacumm storage tank on the fender well for its heater controls. You can use some type of tank that will hold Vacumm, then run the manifold line to the tank then run the other line to the wipers. It keeps the wipers humming along when you step on the gas. Also if your glass is dirty, possible some overspray on it. Get some steel wool and give it a good rub down. it works great at cleaning the glass and wont hurt it. GM also uses a tank to, but its plastic but same idea. Good luck and have fun Bill.
