Okay, transmission and t-case rubber mount question?

Finally bought the boat roller to cut and make the bushings. The inner metal sleave is 1 1/8" long so what thickness do I make the bushings? Plus 1/8", 1/4", I don't know. I am sure that I cn crank the bolts down until it is tight against the sleave. Figure it has to be larger a little bit.
