the 3500 srw default is no lights. i checked with dave smith motors. would have bought one already but cant find a loaded laramie mega with 2 tone - white / tan or red / tan. i dont want to order bc i can cut a better deal on a lot truck. supposed next jag of megas will all be 2 tone and i will be running out of excuses. i drove a cummins crew cab last week with the laramie package. much nicer inside than my current denali. i hear you on the bed liner. my bed will not see much action & keeping the items in place is preferable in my intended use - coolers, boxes etc. im registering the truck in nj where you get passenger plates on any pickup but will run a lot in ny. it is legal to run parkways in ny with pass plates on a 3500, but you cant get ny pass plates in ny for one. i figure the cab lights will cause me to get pulled over and explain. besides (EVERY) cab light we have ever had in any brand truck is potential problem. we have even gotten a ticket on cab light on a truck that didn't require one.
