with the way you described cabling them, pros got them. in order to scrap around here you need to provide information, drivers license etc. or you are not permitted to scrap. a guy taking these had to make several trips and knew he had a willing scrap yard. any thoughts about checking impound yards etc? do you rent or own your land? ever receive notice about your trucks being derelict etc? got an angry wife or a funny friend? we knew a collector of very expensive pre war german cars. he became estranged from his wife. she had the cars 'moved' pending divorce proceedings. after many years, the divorce was finalized and the location of the cars was revealed. they were outside stored in a yard near a plow & salt yard. 100% destroyed. terrible what happens sometimes.
