Never paid a whole lot of attention to it, but it thru me for a loop when I saw all these little jap trucks with 12, and I believe some with 14 ply ratings. I guess that is for heavy loads, seems like once I saw some 900s with 12 ply. What about letting a little air out for offroading with the heavier ply rating or would that damage the tire structure.
