I've removed and seen several of these bumpers and they all did the same thing. If the bumper is hit on the corners it will mash the fenders because of the two bolts used to fasten to the fenders. This makes a mess out of the fenders and it's hard to straighten them. From the ones I've seen there were two companies making these back in the day. I have one but it's twisted as I mentioned above.
