On a 1968, this may bolt on in place of the stock manual box. You may have to drill new holes in the frame for the bracket. I did this conversion on a 1966 IH, and I had to drill holes and change the column to a later 2 piece style. If your steering column and steering box are a single unit, you will have to do some fabrication or get the factory later parts.
