when you are repairing someting that is yours and have plans and dreams about your project > you have to stop and say " this is for me and this is what i want" every body has budget, restraints and conditions but how you spend your hard earned dollars at this point changes the entire profile of your project > this vehicle is in need of a repair and now is the time to do it and do it right > patching works only in shoe repairs and on the knees of overalls > if this motor is "down " and you discover a rebuild is neccasary now is the time > take it to a capable machine shop get some prices use name brand parts > have the block line bored cylinder bored, pressue test cleaned and assembled >crank and cam bearings ect now you are with a fresh and what should be solid start on the road to trouble free driving and you will have CONFIDENCE in your truck and pride knowing all is back to new condition under the hood piece of mind ! and nothing should be waiting there to bite you in the a$$ later > nothing more frustrating is pulling of the hood and fenders after you put 3000 in paint and you scratch it > seen it ,done it no more >the dollars you put in are dollars well spent a decent long term investment even if you are forced to sell you can pull out the paper work and say fresh rebuild spring of 2010 what more can i say~ Copey
