Didn't the bumperette's bolts go through the crossmember in lieu of rivets? But I suppose they use a different crossmember, no PTO option in WWII.
I was just poking fun at your welds. You've seen mine, I wouldn't win any dog shows. Round nuts inserted from outside would have been less cutting and welding is all. Weld prep the nuts, use a counter sink on the holes, grind weld flush. Easy for me to find a differnet way, but you actually did do it.
If you are going to hanging pedals: You can use the 90° bracket from the Dodge Vans, and a small diameter dual diaphragm booster. That is apparently what Dodge did on the '70's /6 M601. Easy to fit a clutch master in close too, maybe that is why Dodge got twisted?
Ray's hanging pedals have a long vertical member to spread the load, preventing firewall fatigue cracking. O.E. stuff has a brace to the instrument panel, braces the firewall and the column, as well as the dash.
Ah, well, you are having more fun then me. Thought I might have found a new project this weekend, looked like a FFPW cab on a trailer at a homestead. Went for a closer look today, turned out to be Chevy (?) COE with the nose disassembled. OHV engine with aluminum rocker cover, belt line around cab was a full bead. Ford? Chevy?
