About 6k miles like most of my power wagon trips started out great. Michelle knocked up in the back seat of my o3 7.3 power stroke with 1k miles on it,having to stop for food ever 100 miles everything seamed fine.Drove all the way to san diago picked up a 47 pw that the ownwer spoke no english, just great. then off to pleasanton ca for a 50 willys station wagon. We then went to the hearst castle and some other bull s***t stops then off home bound.Things were going great till we rolled into little rock coming down the hill i noticed semi's all over the sides of the road. We hit black ice(the mother of all the road ice)(awesome)Instead of freaking out i just let up on the fuel a little, then i noticed in my passenger mirror my gooseneck was sitting right beside me,(YEP AT A TRUE 90 DEGREE ANGLE) i told michelle to (GET RIGHT WITH JESUS)and i applied my trailer brakes gently. The trailer sling shot back around and everything was just fine, except this new object in my underpants. It was the closest i came to crashing ever. Then we were stuck on I-40 for like 12 hours, michelle had a load backed up about the size of a hundred watt light bulb, pain, knocked up and stuck on I-40 was not a hit with the she-devil. All in all It was a fun experience and i would do it again if it worked in my favor but not with a knocked up gal in the crew unit.
The worst thing a person can do is out drive the conditions, my father always called them june drivers.
I never worried about people getting mad about me driving 20 on 20mph road conditions and normally when they passed they would be in a ditch up the road a bit.
