1946 Dodge PW Red vs today's Flame Red?

Has anyone ever compared the 1946 Dodge Truck Red used on the Power Wagon's to the 1996 Flame Red?

I'm just curious. I've got a couple of nice relatively clean red spots in the cab, and the red looks nicer than I expected. Just wondering how it compares to the Flame Red I was thinking of going with.
