Tried testing the engine this weekend. It on the frame with all the basic hookups. However, I am not seeing a spark in the #6 spark plug when I turn it over. I should be able to see a spark if I lay the plug on top of the engine in the spark plug hole, right? Also because there is no cab on the frame I have run the wire from the coil directly back to the starter to complete that circuit. Can that be done or do I need to hookup something else. The Altinator is not hookup yet. Any suggestion on how to test the ignition system? This all worked before I took it part.
