On both my 318A's I used a die grinder to carefully bore the throat on the cast iron manifold (manifold off of the engine, of course) to match the throttle plate of the Holley 350 cfm 2 bbl performance carburetor. Made an adapter plate out of 1/2" thick aluminum plate for the mounting bolts. Works great, is more reliable than the Stromberg and they're easy to tweak or rebuild.
