And wife will need a zipper foot for her machine to sew the piping that goes around the edge. If she buys enough yards, she can cut a couple long strips off the edge of the fabric first, to make the piping seamless. Otherwise, cut short strips, miter the ends, and sew together at the angle so the seam won't show as bad. Or make them longer by cutting them diagonally, but that wastes more fabric.

The wrap around parts, front of bottom and top of back, will need a seams long enough. Lower part needs the seams at the corners, and crooked to make it fit. Oh well, that's how the factory did them.

Try to get fabric at a store that sells bolt ends, basically left overs. $5-8/yard, vs $15-30 at the 'new' store.

I also wrapped the door panels and kick panels with matching vinyl. Spray adhesive. Made shift lever boots too.
