Yes Bill P I had a Great time at the Buldge. This year I took my 1945 Dodge WC51 weapons carrier to the annual WW2 reenactment of the Battle of the Buldge. My son and I towed it there with his 01 Dodge W2500 Cummins Powered truck. Its about 70 miles from home. Both trucks worked great. My WC was hit by a German tank and blown up but I was able to fix it up enough to get it back home. LOL. When it was time to head for home we loaded it up. My son left earlier in the day with my other son with his Jeep. I had some other business to take care of before I left. My son gave me a few instructions on how to handle all that power. I told him I was sure I could handle it. I am not into diesel engines, I cut my teath on BIG BLOCK Mopars. 383, 440s thats my kind of truck motor. I just want to let you know that these motors kick ass. Its a 6 speed stick shift and as I pulled out on the highway you can just feel that power pull it right along with little to no effort. AS I was cruising in 6th gear, humming right along. A little more speed was needed, just step down a little and you can feel the turbo kick and away you go. All that towed weight 7000 pounds,no problem. It was nice to feel that, makes me feel good driving that Dodge. My son is always working on it treaking it and adding more stuff to it. He is always reading about more upgrades to the motor, like cylinderhead work, bigger turbo, bigger fuel system. I tell him its got more than he needs but at 22 it falls on deaf ears. We had a good time. Enjoying old and new together. Even had a Jeep in there to. Im glad my boys like the same kind of stuff POP does. Make me Proud. Bill.
