About 5 years ago I was told about a PW that some guy owned . I drove out and had a look from about 100 ft away and left him a note . This morning the guy calls and wants me to make him an offer . This thing is a flat deck the roof is crushed by a tree , the doors have been open for at least 10 years , it is buried up to the axles , rad and a bunch of other parts are gone , no windshield frame - your basic pile of rust . So I offer the guy 200 bucks , his response was a classic . " I was told by a mechanic that the axles are worth 1000 bucks each , it has 2 engines ..... one has the head off" I told him that I had several sets of axles that I had picked up for free and knew of several more that were there for the taking . The sad part is that the truck will most likely end up as scrap . I have no idea if it has a wench or not . The owner would not place a value on his truck but I think would be in the middle 4 figures , it has those 1000 dollar axles you know .
