I'm not sure what you mean, if I was too gruff or if I wasn't clear enough. If the former, well, no one has ever accused me of having tact. Sorry. If the later, I'll try to clear it up:
Combat Rims fit:
1941 WC 1/2 ton (had a set on my chassis)
1942 WC 3/4 ton (they came stock on it)
M37 family (prototypes had them, mine has them now)
Early WDX prototypes had them, and I've seen photos of them on PW's.
M37 Rims fit:
M37 - stock
Early PW - Same rim, stock
3/4 ton WC - I've seen it done as a spare. Worked fine.
1/2 ton WC - Works fine, makes better alternative than mounting a 900x16 onto the original 7.50x16 rims
1941 WC 1/2 ton rims 7.50x16 fit:
1941 WC 1/2 ton - stock of course
1942 3/4 ton WC - Don't know
M37 - Don't know.
PW - Don't know, though I've seen postings from some owners who complain their had these rims and they want to buy the proper Budd rims. This would suggest they would fit.
Better?
