Engine in '57 W-100

I'm thinking of replacing the 315 in my truck with an engine that is easier to find parts for. I'm thinking of a 70's vintage small-block Mopar like a 318, 340, or 360. Does this make sense? Will I have engine mount problems?

Does anybody have any experience with putting Hemi heads on the old poly-type engines? Do they really fit? I know this would be expensive but it might be kinda fun.
