Wt of WDX?

While towing a WDX home the other day it did not feel any heavier than an M37. After looking up the wt. it was just under 5300 lbs(plus a couple 100 for the winch). Is this right? I had always thought the WDX-WM300 was heavier than the M37 (just over 6000 w/w). Thanks for info.
