Solid ice roads are not so fun anymore. Even chains are not fool-proof. When you are young and have lots of days ahead, you take them for granted. Like looking at a jar with 30000 beans in it, one bean for each day of +/- 80 years life. But when the jar is only 1/4 or so full, we tend to take a few more precautions. Sometimes I wonder how I got through the first 60 years. :) But I'm still here.
