Blasting Media

Even with a media blasting box, garnet sand gets too dusty. I can't see the object inside the box (have and wear a respirator and goggles). Plain sand clumps and clogs. Thinking about either glass beads or aluminum oxide. Thoughts? Using dry air at 80psi.
