Agreed. Digikey is also good. Digikey and Mouser are the two main on-line electronic parts distributors. Jameco's another one, but more on the low-cost industrial surplus side. Allied's still in business too. Digikey is the most popular with most engineers, but I tend to use Mouser because I find their website easier to use. Any of those companies will stock standard power resistors and standard voltage regulators like I described, and all will have comparable prices.
