The MU winches on the WDX series trucks have the clutch shifter in between the gear housing and the drum. They also have an angled face on the mounting bracket and the gear housing surfaces, which sets them apart from the other MU models. I have an MU winch on my W500 with the shifter mech. on the opposited side, between the drum and the mounting arm. The mounting surfaces are all flat on that winch, as well. JH
