I have been successful twice by just blocking the clutch pedal down with a 2x4 and waiting a few days. Other guys have had to hammer a putty knife in there or something similar. Yours might be a tough case, but it's worth just blocking the pedal down and waiting a week in case you get lucky. Have heard mixed things about pouring/spraying diesel on it. My feeling is it would be worth a try since if it doesn't work, you're going to tear up the lining anyway getting it lose and probably have to re-do it. Diesel's not very slippery so it probably wouldn't glaze the clutch. One of the steering clutches on my D4 stayed stuck all summer even with the handle pulled back with a rope, but it may have broken springs or something.
