yes, me too. At first, I wanted to strip off everything that was not factory. But the diamond plate platform, and trimmed out sheetmetal by Simms Fire Eq of SATX looks well done and is functional. So I say leave it. Probably have to cut a split in the running board if I do go 4x4 with it to allow some flex. Tool box needs a new bottom welded in.
