Front Door Check Arms

OK, I'm pulling the doors off the cab on the 46 PW, and the passenger side Check Arm had a cotter key holding the washer and rubber bumper on, but on the drivers side the arm ends in a T shape to hold the washer and rubber on.

How do you pull these T type of check arms to pull the door?
