Chris; The weather is a little better, we'll have to get together soon. There are severaal discussions on ChallengerTalk (you turned me on to it) on this topic and I seem to remember reasonable performance gains were obtained by removing the large "suitcase" muffler and replacing it with Flowmasters, Borlas, etc. and keeping the resonators. If the resonators were removed, you got a low droan at certain engine RPMs. That's one of the reasons I went with the 6 spd, a less restrictive exhaust (it has resonators, also)that has 2 mufflers, not the suitcase style.
