You may be right. Although I straight piped my '03 and my '06 CTD Rams, including removing the cat. converter without any problems. I hate to think that cars are that dependent on computers, but I do remember one time my "check engine" light came on and someone told me to try screwing the fuel cap on tighter. I did and the light went off! If you have a dependable muffler shop near you maybe they could tell you if that would be a problem. I can just imagine how cool that Charger would sound with some 28" glass packs.
