Paul : I realize that we can make up the push rod and obtain a spring that might work. I am merely trying to come up with a new setup that is easy for everyone to use and install without fabricating any parts. The idea of fabing internal parts for your brake setup is a concern to those that may not have the skills or knowledge to do so. Having a factory setup to install saves any legal or fabricator skills concerns in case of an accident or brake failure. I was hoping that some brake unit setup is available and thought one of these may work. The Cardone web site says that the internal brake / rod / spring assembly is installed on SOME hydraboost units. I do not know for sure if the ones I quoted are included. If some one in the US has easy access to these parts can they check. I live in Canada and these parts must be ordered in and paid for, so if i'll wrong I pay a restocking fee and such. thanks Terry
