I use a Streamlight Stinger XT at work (Aircraft Mechanic, graveyard shift) and at home. Have two-one is always charging...just in case. The XT has a bigger switch on the end (easier to use with gloves on) versus the regular Stinger which has a small switch on the head. Smaller, puts out better light than a Maglite, and lasts longer (we call Maglights Maghammers at work, because that's all they're good for.) Not LED though, I don't really like the light LEDs put out. Hope this helps! birdo
