"Fair to rough shape"? I've seen guys peddling a lot worse trucks as being in good shape, and asking a lot more money for them. For an old wood truck, it sure doesn't have many dents in it. I bet he put dualies on it for flotation, not for load capacity, since single tires are strong enough to handle any load that the springs and axle can carry. But driving around in the woods of western Oregon, the extra flotation to avoid getting stuck in the mud would be real good.
Estacada's right up the road from where my grandparents lived. Too bad somebody in the family's not still alive there to go buy it for me. Being as how it's on the wet side of the mountains, the main part of "rough" is probably rust. It doesn't look bad in the one picture, but a truck can't sit in the rain for 60 years without developing some serious rust.
