People on this forum tend to post under the same name over and over. Some of those names are real, some are nicknames. Using the same fake name as the original poster on this issue leads people to think you are the same person.
Also, using a real name and E-mail address are ways to get more people interested in helping you, as we get trolls here who post just trying to stir things up from time to time.
As always if you are spending any amount of money you can't afford to lose go look at the item in person before paying for it, or have someone you trust look at it for you.
