NP540 DD What is it worth?

I have an opportunity to purchase a NP540 DD with a pto. I have only seen one other NP540 and the case cracked wide open. I know the OD versions are more desirable but a 5th gear sounds enticing. It was installed in a chevy medium duty truck. I think i have the opportunity to score the bell housing and clutch assembly as well. How much different were the chevy NP540 from the Dodge 540s (bolt patterns)?
