I messed with some of the old engines of the turn of the century a few years ago. these engines are extremely powerful at low speed. having said that the man fooling with the engine is dumber than a sack of dirt. you never,never,never try to start an old engine and not even look at it to check the important stuff on the engine out, geeze, it is a very quick way to get killed or maimed, and they will do it without preciduce and without hesitation. part of reason for osha today!! thanks for the space to rant.
