Yes, the spring was inside the needle. In order to get the correct adjustment on the float the float tab would have to be bent quite a bit. Nothing in bottom of bowl. Probably the best thing to do is just get the correct rebuild kit w/instructions and eliminate the anxiety as there are probably other tweeks that were not tweaked. Where is the best place for a good/complete Kit? Thanks for getting back.
