This is the beauty of the simplicity of these trucks and their engines. I venture to say most of the owners of Power Wagons don't put many miles on them. 500-1000 a year? There might be a few exceptions to this, of course. But unless you are doing a full restoration and want to be able to say the truck is COMPLETELY restored, including the engine, why bother? If I were going to go to the expense of rebuilding a flathead 6, I would spend the money on a Cummins transplant. JH
