i always set up diffs very close to the "pattern of gear contact " then Torgue the yoke retaining nut > then recheck the pattern on the pinion depth to the ring gear > its tricky and take a few attempts to get it right and keep it right after you tighten it down > also must check the "cost side " of the ring gear > i use red lead paint ,mechanics blueing is to messy and tracks all over the place and check the patern in two or three places > should check ring gear for run out to with a dial gauge ~ Copey
