putting a big block into a pw / m37 is overkill any way you slice it. the addl mods needed to support the hp take you so far away from the orig truck, you quickly get to a modern truck with an old cab. i love seeing mods and what people do, but a well executed small block or diesel is really the way to go. the trucks don't need much more in the way of hp and rpm to liven them up.
